We bought a shih Tzu puppy and he died within a week. He has had a virus from the place we bought him. This has been extremely devastating for me. I took care of him as a child. It was unfortunate that medical care was also not that excellent in the country we live in. I have a pain in my heart which doesnt go away from this loss. My only relief is to wish that he has ended his karma as an animal and would have now born in a better place as a human or that he has attained Nibbana.

Hi Beth. Thanks for this. Is it just me? Have I been living under a rock? I have not heard of the the 100% quiet mind meditation myth as a “thing” but I gotta say as a teacher I encounter some folks at times who seem to susbribe to what you describe here- for that I am grateful. Now I know what to call this tendency in students!

It is often mentioned that there are “6 stages of the Dream Yoga” and it is also said that Evans-Wentz is the author of these statements. For instance, in this text, these 6 stages are recalled.
OK….But in the Evans-Wentz book “Tibetan Yoga and the secret doctrines”….These 6 stages are never mentioned….NEVER !

It is important to know exactly who claimed that there 6 stages and what is the original text …..Thank you !
